My standard fee is £80 per session, including the initial session.
A limited number of lower-fee places are available depending on current capacity.
Payment is normally required for missed sessions. I usually ask for 48 hours’ notice for cancellations, where possible.
Sessions may vary from 30 to 50 minutes, according to where we have arrived in our work in each session. A minimum of one session weekly is recommended, and greater frequency is also possible over time. The duration of the treatment more generally is also not something fixed: psychoanalytic work takes time. As it is not a standardised therapy it will unfold according to people’s particular circumstances.
I practice from a discreet consulting room on the cusp of Highbury and Finsbury Park. It’s a 10‑minute walk from Finsbury Park and Arsenal stations (Victoria and Piccadilly lines) — with Great Northern and Thameslink services at Finsbury Park — and is also easily reached from Highbury & Islington and Canonbury (Overground). The area is well served by local buses. I also offer online sessions where appropriate.
